Pulau Tenggol 5th Apr '07 to 8th Apr '07

Met up at Mako at 830pm on 5th Apr.4 advanced course , 11 leisure divers, 2 instructors/divemasters. Took about 8 hrs to reach Dungun where we board our boats to Pulau Tenggol. We have 2 diveboats.

We have high expectations for the trip. However due to wind conditions, we are unable to go to some of the better dive sites. Haiz.. Nevertheless it is a nudibranch haven.

Did 7 dives

Dive 1: Turtle Bay

Got some nice nudibranches and nice coral reef. Got a sharksucker keep sticking to Dear.. Tot we could see some sharks.. but no..

Dive 2: Tanjung Gemok

A drift dive for Tanjung Gemok to Tenggara.Quite a good dive. Saw a super duper big turtle. almost my size!!

Dive 3: Tokong Burung

Super choppy waters. Not worth the ride there.. Almost puke. Haiz..

Dive 4: House Wreck

Nudibranch haven at wrecks. Missed the bumphead parrotfish sian..

Dive 5: Gua Rajawali

Another very good dive site.. Vis is good. Giant Moray.. Turtle.

Dive 6: Turtle Bay( Night Dive)

Crabs, Lotsa Shrimps.. Sleeping parrotfishes in cocoon.. Interesting..

Dive 7: Five Sisters Wreck

Good ending dive.. Found a beautiful polyclad flatworm..Another turtle..

Krabi Ao Nang Trip ( 280207-030307)

It's a short 4D3N to Krabi. A short getaway with Dear before she start  her new job. Actually 4D3N is way too short a stay at Krabi. We really wished that we could have another week there haha. Then we can do more diving, some climbing at Railay or maybe sea kayaking. Oh ya still got deep water soloing as well. Cool siah

Reached Ao Nang at evening time on the 28th. Checked in on Ao Nang Grand Inn. A cheap and good accomodation. About S$50 for a double room aircon private bathroom.

Then went to check out the dive centre and decided to dive with Poisedon Dive Center. We decided on 2 days of diving. First day we started with 2 local dives and 1 night dive at  local site. 1st dive @ Koh Si . See quite different stuff as compared to Malaysia dive site. Lionfishes are abundant. Saw a few blue-spotted rays. Then we did our second dive @ Koh Talu. A swimthrough. Quite strong current. Quite siong. Saw our first seahorse. So nice and cute. And I took a very nice picture of it. Saw a pair of boxer shrimps and managed to get a good shot despite strong current.

We did a night dive @ Koh Talu and saw more stuff. Crabs and more nocturnal sea creatures

Reached Ao Nang at 9pm and went off to wash up before going for a late dinner.

Day 2 is the SUPERDAY.. 3 day dives at the 3 famous dive sites at Krabi. Kingcruiser Wreck, Anemone Reef and Shark Point. Great day of diving.

My first wreck dive at KingCruiser wreck is absolutely amazing!

Followed by great dive at Anemone Reef

And a breathtaking dive at Sharkpoint where we saw our first leopard shark wahaha
